Lizzie has been in foster care for too many years. Overlooked time and time again. But she has not given up hope. She knows that she is not perfect, but then again, WHO IS?? But Lizzie also knows that all she needs is ONE person. One person to overlook her flaws and to love her for who she is. One person who will live and work with HER schedule. One person with patience and understanding and a whole lot of "cat sense". Lizzie likes all the things other cats like. She likes to be petted. She likes to sit with you. She likes windowsills and a bowl of food to nibble on. But she is temperamental. She can only tolerate so many strokes before she becomes agitated. Push her past that point and she might bite. But learn about her ways and you will know when to give attention and when to stop. If you respect Lizzie, she will love you in return ...... forever. Lizzie is not a cat for every household. She should not be around children who would not understand when to leave her alone. She can live peacefully with other cats, but only if they leave her alone. (She'd be best as an only cat). But Lizzie doesn't need every household, she only needs ONE. Lizzie is front declawed and about 8 or 9 years old. She doesn't really like to be brushed, but her long fur usually stays untangled by itself. Splurge for one professional grooming a year and she will always look her finest.
