UPDATED 6/ 26/07 I have some sponsors: Mr. & Mrs. Foote, Mr. MacClay, Ms. Redcay & Ms. Weitzel Tioga is doing great. He has made a full recovery and grown into a happy, healthy, and robust young man. He runs and jumps and plays. He is the first to greet us when we come home, rolls over for his tummy to be rubbed, and purrs. Still not eager to be picked up but will sit on the couch with you. He is a good eater and loves his chicken soup for cat lovers soul. He is a bit on the "fluffy" side but after all he been through his foster family is just happy he is so healthy and well adjusted. Now he is waiting for his forever family discover him and to see what a wonderful boy is.... POSTED 10/28/06 This is the bravest cat I have ever met. He is a gentle sweet soul who was found in horrible condition. We are not sure just what happened to him but he spent his first week with us at Valley Central Emergency Hospital. This sweet cat had open wounds and was infested with maggots. No, it is not a pretty story is it...he also has a severed ligament. He was treated as much as he could be in his weak ened condition and is now recuperating with us until he has the strength to undergo surgery on his hind leg. He is a poor sweet soul who did not deserve this in his life. Please help us to help him. His surgery to repair his hind leg will be VERY expensive. Cats/kittens are FIV/FeLV tested, dewormed, treated for fleas and brought up to date on vacs when entering One by One. If over 6 months of age they are already neutered/spayed. Please allow our staff at least two business days to clear your application. We try to match every animal with the best possible home!
