Siberian Husky - Medium - Adult - Male - Dog - Dakota
Description
We work in eastern PA, southern NJ, and parts of MD and DE depending on distance.Dakota's owners are older and are planning to move within the year. Dakota was their daughter's dog but she moved and left Dakota with them. Dakota is neutered and up to date on his vaccines. He has mild epilepsy that is controlled with medication. He does have a sensitive stomach, his owners think he is allergic to chicken. Otherwise he is a healthy boy. His owner says 'Dakota loves attention and being outside. He will chase and try to catch birds and squirrels. He is usually in the back yard, he has not been on a leash very often. He can be very energetic. Loves the dog he has grown up with, but does not seem too fond of puppies or smaller dogs. He is very vocal and lets us know when he wants something - at times I feel like he is really talking to me.' Dakota is not crate trained and is used to having his owners at home with him. He can sit and shake hands and lie down. Dakota is well behaved while being brushed. He is good in the car, but his owner says he likes to 'yodel' while going on car rides. Dakota is living with his current owners, he is not a Harnessed to Hope foster dog.We do not have a kennel facility, our foster dogs live in the homes of our volunteers.
