8-8-09: Rocky is new to rescue. Please stay tuned for more info as we get to know him better. Rocky was rescued from a kill shelter when his time was up last friday. He is approximately 1 years old. He is a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever mix. He is a very handsome dog and has a black coat with a white chest. He weighs about 50 lbs. He is a friendly and social dog who is ready to greet you and love you. He is well mannered and acts like a real gentleman. He seems intelligent and is ready to please. He is good with other dogs. He was turned into the kill shelter by his previous family after spending his life chained outside. Rocky was found by the shelter staff to a be a tolerant dog who did very well with his temperament test. One can easily take food from him and he nicely takes treats. He already knows sit and is good on the leash. Rocky is a sweet boy that deserves a new family to show him the doggie good life. Please consider Rocky if you are searching for that wonderful new companion! He would make a great addition to any family.
