Hound - Medium - Adult - Male - Dog - Samson

Hi, Im Samson (aka: Sammie), a male hound mix, approx 2 years old. Im a small guy, only about 39 pounds, with reddish brown markings and black highlights. I am currently living with three other dogs and I get along with all of them my favorite games are 'wrestling' and 'chase and tag'. I am not a very high energy dog when inside I am usually the first to stop playing and find a quiet spot to relax. I love attention and will follow my foster mom around just waiting for my next belly rub or the change to put my head on her lap and get a neck rub :) My foster family has one cat Ive been within a few feet of the cat and did not show any signs of aggression so I should be okay in a home with cats too. I am housebroken and have not shown any signs of mouthing. I am not food aggressive, but I do excited to eat and have not yet learned that my food dish may not be the first one put down..... :-) In the house and when not playing with the other dogs, I am pretty gentle and would be good with children. Outside, I love to explore! This is typical of the hound breed I like following new scents and love to have my tracking instinct stimulated through scent games in the yard and/or nice long walks in the park. If you have a fenced in yard, I will need to be supervised since I am capable of jumping the fence when there are squirrels around.
