This is Kai. Kai is a 10 month old male Alaskan Malamute and German Shepherd mix. Kai had a rough start to life and I rescued him when he was 5 months old and extremely underweight and malnurished. Because of his rough start to life, he missed out on some crucial life lessons. Therefore he is fearful of new people and new places. We have worked extremely hard with him over the past 5 months and he has come a great distance, but still needs lots of socialization. Kai is already around 75lbs and will continue to grow. He is extremely goofy and loving but will need continued patience and love to fully recover from the neglect he was subjected to.

If you are interested in Kai you MUST:

*Have a lifestyle that allows time and energy towards training, exercising, and socializing Kai.
*Be knowledgable of the 2 breeds he is mixed with.
*Have the funds to feed and vet a dog of his size.
*Have a fenced backyard.
*Preferably have no small children.
*Preferably have another dog in the house.
