Dalmatian - Medium - Adult - Male - Dog - Scooby

9/2/09 Here's Scooby! Scooby is an 8 year old male dalmatian. I was forced to give up my dog because of my son's increasingly severe allergies. Scooby birthday is 3/31/2001. He is neutered and up to date on shots. He is a watchdog - perfect around women and children - he even snuggles with them. Some men get him riled up - especially if they have quick movements around him. He is dog door- and crate-trained. And he takes commands with a stern, yert soft voice - sit, down, etc. He will roll over if a high-level treat is involved. He also responds to hand signals - forearm and flat hand pointed toward youself for sit, fist out and moving down for lay down, etc. Walks on a lead with quick corrections when he spies a squirrel, rabbit or other dog. Scooby was nervous at the shelter and shut down mentally. As soon as they took him outside he was fine. He will not leave the kitchen in his foster home.
