Quarterhorse - Medium - Adult - Male - Horse - Quincy
Description
Quincy is a 19 year old quarterhorse gelding. He was used as a lesson horse at a large riding facility where he had to work very hard and became lame. He was going to be sent to a dealer, but a kind woman who used to ride him bought him and asked Mylestone to help. He has navicular which makes him lame for riding. He was also mistreated in his early days, and can spook very easily at things. If you dont let him know you are going to touch him before doing so, he sometimes will move quickly and can be frightened. But he has gotten better about trusting people. He goes out each day with a herd of other geldings. He loves to be brushed and fussed with. Quincy is very grateful to have a second chance at life thanks to the kind people that helped him. Quincy would love to be sponsored while he waits to be adopted! Please contact Mylestone!
