Thoroughbred - Large - Young - Male - Horse - Russell - UPDATE

NICE DRESSAGE PROSPECT!!! RUSSELL - Five year-old UNRACED TB dark bay gelding Russell was in training for racing, but bowed his front tendons and never made it to the track. Doesn't even have a tattoo. The bows are healed and set and he is sound. HE IS ALL OF 17.0 HANDS and has nice conformation...he moves really nice. Would be an awesome Dressage horse! I've also trail ridden him out by himself and he is very good on the trail, wasn't bothered by traffic and walked out on a long rein. Also took him out of hacking around the fields with a friend and he did great. This guy doesn't get too worked up about anything. Goes nicely in the ring while others are riding and jumping. THIS IS A SPECIAL HORSE with talent for the show ring. Please no beginners as he is young and green yet. Although many horses with bows go on and have great jumping careers in the hunters, I am only adopting him out to someone that doesn't want to jump anything above little bitty fences to play it on the safe side with the tendons. Does require shoes on the front as his feet are a bit flat and he doesn't care for the stones around here! Loads (with a little encouragement), crossties, loves to be groomed, clips (even his ears!) and has nice manners. UPDATE: RUSSELL will be remaining here at HHF until the Spring 2010 when be achieves Parelli Level 1 On-Line; however, we will be taking applications on him in the meantime, so if you would like to come out and see him, give us a call!
