A unique, one of a kind metal 4ft. cowboy statue with six guns in hand was purchased for my husband for his birthday. It had a special meaning since he liked to watch cowboy movies. He watched a lot of them the past 2 years while dealing with heart/vascular disease which took his life October 26th, 2008. I decided the cowboy would be an excellent addition to the décor at our son’s business, the Buckeye Tavern in Macungie. The statue, on the enclosed outdoor deck, was a conversation piece since many of the patrons knew my husband well. Between July 10th and 12th there were several party events with lots of people attending. Someone had to have taken it off the deck thru a back entrance posting a “No Exit” sign. This cowboy, tan sand color, black hat, mustache, silver guns, had very special sentimental feelings associated with it. It is very upsetting that someone would have the nerve to take something that does not belong to them. It is a shame that everything needs to be “nailed down”.
Would anyone that observed this action, took part in it, or knows anything about who took it or where it is, kindly return it to the Buckeye Tavern as soon as possible with no questions asked.
